The nearest major airport to Edwards Air Force Base is the Inyokern Airport which is located about 51 miles from the base. Another major airport is Los Angeles International Airport which services both domestic and international flights. There is a shuttle from the airport if your sponsor is unavailable to provide transportation. If arriving by car from the Los Angeles Airport, take the 405 north and Merge onto 5 north. Take the Exit to the Highway 14 North and continue through Palmdale. Continue until you enter Rosamond. Take the exit for Rosamond Boulevard and Edwards Air Force Base Exit. Continue through 2 lights and across the railroad track, and you will enter Edwards Air Force Base property. Proceed another 17 miles to the West Gate entrance on Rosamond Boulevard.
